ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. and learning partner Hemsley Fraser Canada host Future of Work event
ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. (ACI) and Hemsley Fraser Canada recently co-hosted the highly anticipated "Future of Work Part 2: Building Effective Strategies to Enhance Learning" event. This collaborative initiative aimed to explore innovative approaches to learning and development in response to the evolving demands of the workforce. The partnership between Hemsley Fraser Canada, a global leader in learning and development, and ACI, an ISO 9001:2015 certified educational institution and business development company, began when Ms. Rita Sookrit, Canada Learning Lead of Hemsley Fraser Canada, connected with Dr. Vishnu Doerga, Chairman; the visionary behind ACI. Their shared commitment to investing in learning and development in Guyana and the Caribbean region led to a successful collaboration, resulting in the production of various learning materials such as a range of learning materials, including eLearning courseware, eBriefing videos, and fluidbooks, and the formal signing of a Partnership Agreement. During the event, participants were treated to engaging presentations and thought-provoking discussions led by industry experts from both Hemsley Fraser Canada and ACI. Coach Keon Smith, Training Director of ACI, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the transformative opportunity it presents to address the skills gap, foster leadership capabilities, and equip individuals with the necessary tools for success in the evolving business landscape. Ms. Camille Deokie, founder of Camille’s Academy and a guest speaker at the event, emphasized the belief that the partnership between ACI and Hemsley Fraser Canada is instrumental in empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential in management. This collaboration combines ACI's action-oriented approach with Hemsley Fraser Canada's global expertise, creating a powerful platform for upskilling and talent advancement. In addition, Ms. Rodlyn Semple, ISO lead consultant of ACI, delivered a presentation on the significance of implementing robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) and adhering to ISO standards. She emphasized how these frameworks can streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure consistent quality across products and services. The Future of Work event left participants inspired and equipped with valuable insights to shape their learning initiatives in response to the challenges and opportunities of the future.
